WooMusic,Inc presents:

"Loveland is known nationally as an arts community. I would like to see that
extend to the performing arts as well. We're working with The Mandolin Cafe,
to present the best singer-songwriters from all over the State in an intimate setting.
It feels like having a concert in your own living room."

“Think Joan Baez fronting 10,000 Maniacs hanging out in the studio with James Blunt and you get an idea of her soaring, smooth resonance.”
- Colorado Music Buzz, Littleton, CO

“As enjoyable as it is to write and record in the studio, I love connecting with people in a live setting,” Laurel says. “Seeing people have a good time and hearing how my songs touch their lives makes my day. Making music is about the fun of performing but also about making that universal connection with the audience. Then there’s also the spontaneity factor because the way I perform a song is never the same twice. It’s always a little surprise to see what version comes out, and that keeps performing fresh. I also love the excitement that comes with writing new music. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to reach more people, including young kids, with every new release and performance onstage. It’s about appreciating the little moments day to day while moving forward to reach my musical goals.”

If Dave Matthews and Adam Duritz, of Counting Crows, made a vocal baby it’d be Jeff Brinkman. Don’t     try to imagine how they would do that, just think of how it would sound.

Poppy but raw, professional but loose is how Jeff Brinkman’s debut To the Bones comes across. Recorded locally at Devonshire Studios with a whole host of Front Range staples at his side, like Mark Diamond, Christian Teele and Bryan Wagstaff, among others, the Iowa transplant to Colorado has been working on this release since 2008, and the time taken shows in a dialed-in production.

Soft and brooding in some parts and rocking and inspirational in others, To The Bones showcases a songwriter who carefully ponders each note and word, but never takes his songs so seriously that they lose their spunk.

First earning a name and a rock-and-roll reputation as her breakneck alter-ego, Patti Fiasco, Alysia
Kraft is the flesh and songwriting bones behind the Colorado-based alt-country/rock quintet, The Patti Fiasco. Kraft calls her acoustic project, “a little coffee to The Patti Fiasco’s whiskey, “ her excuse “to write earnestly, unapologetically, and to perform in spaces too tight to accommodate a five-piece freight train of a band.”  Kraft blends new folk sincerity with a coy Western swagger and rocker’s edge, drawing comparisons ranging from Lucinda Williams to Bruce Springsteen to Brandi Carlile. Born and raised on a family-owned cattle ranch in Southwestern Wyoming, the would-be cowgirl is instead one of Colorado’s emerging musical talents, a sophisticated songwriter beyond her twenty-four years and a truly memorable performer.
